We rear traditional rare breeds known for the quality of their meat with an excellent reputation for well marbled, tender meat with great flavour. We use Langford Abattoir, whose premises are part of the Veterinary School providing excellent teaching and the undertaking of leading research in animal welfare and meat science.

 

These animal welfare experts are recognised worldwide for their research and training, ensuring best practise at all times. It is of the greatest importance to us that our animals receive the highest welfare standards and at Langford we can be assured of this.

 

Our expert butcher, Jamie Vowles is licensed and inspected by the Soil Association. Jamie is a great butcher with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of butchery. The sausages are well packaged with all other meats vac packed and ready to pop in your freezer.
